So You Think You Can Write 2013

Hi everybody! Long time no post! So You Think You Can Write 2013 aka SYTYCW 2013. Today is the first day for writers to submit their first chapter and 100 word pitch to this Harlequin/Mills & Boon contest. The catch – you have to target one of their lines. See the www.soyouthinkyoucanwrite.com for details. I will be submitting my first chapter aimed at the Harelquin Presents line. I will be posting the direct link to my chapter on here tonight or tomorrow.

The contest is a bit different then last year being that the editors choose the top 50 chapters and then request full manuscripts. From there the editors choose the top 10 manuscripts and then the public (that’s you) get to vote on those top 10 manuscripts. Voting doesn’t start until November.

Right now you can go on the SYTYCW website and read the submitted chapters and make comments to the writer. I am hoping there will be no negativity to any of the brave writers who post their work for the world to see. It takes guts to do that, trust me.

Enjoy the variety of reads and I hope you enjoy my chapter. I will be submitting either tonight or tomorrow and will post the direct link for easy access.

Thanks everyone! Happy reading!

So from now to Oct 11 please google so you think you can write; enter my name in the search tab under the All drop down and please vote for my story. You get to vote once PER day! So please for the next 10 days head on over to the site and vote each and every day.
The final prize is to have the winner’s manuscript published by Harlequin – a long time dream of mine. 🙂
Thank you so much everyone. Take care and happy reading!
